Welcome to the new world of Hunter Douglas Roller shades!  Hunter Douglas Roller shades offer a diverse range of custom fabrics grouped into three distinct categories: Traditional, Natural, and Soft Traditional fabrics provide a classic roller shade look and feel.  These fabrics can easily stand alone or work well with top treatments and draperies.  Fabrics in the Natural category are casual and comfortable in any setting . The look of grass cloth, chenille and other natural elements blend effortlessly with any decor.  Hunter Douglas soft fabrics offer elegant texture, a gentle hand and luxurious colors. 

Lifting Systems and Applications

• The new and improved cordless lifting system combines Hunter Douglas fresh, innovative fabrics with a timeless spring assisted roller mechanism.  Now the shade stops height can be adjusted by a built in dial control * Please specify side by side shades when ordering.
• Motorized designer roller shades offer smooth, quiet operation for large or hard to reach windows.  Our optional timer allows shades to raise or lower, any time, day or night.
• Hunter Douglas standard chain driven clutch system features a continuos beaded cord.  The shade can easily be positioned at any level with precise manual control.
• The new Dual Roller Shade application offers two shades in one cassette with independent operation.  Choose fabrics of varying opacity for maximum privacy and light control.
• The most common installations are single, double=hung and casement style windows, individual shades can be installed across large window areas as well.

Design Options

• Designer Roller Shades come standard with a fabric wrapped bottom bar and color coordinated hardware for a completely finished look.  Add a subtle embellishment to the new round shape of the bottom bar by upgrading to a decorative metal end cap, available in tow styles.
• For a clean, sleek, look, Hunter Douglas fabric wrapped cassette system conceals the fabric roll, further enhancing the beauty of Designer Roller Shades.
• Choose our faux wood slat in place of the standard bottom bar to add a stylish, contemporary look to the bottom of you shade.
• With the addition of a two inch designer tape trim,you can accentuate your shade with color and texture.
• A roller shade collection would not be complete without the classic decorative hem with petite gimp trim, available in seven hem styles.

Hunter Douglas Designer Roller Shades feature a fabric wrapped cassette, creates a seamless stylish look at the window.  In the raised position, the cassette completely conceals the shade from view. Utilizing the same fabric as the shade creates a polished look that may stand alone without an overtreatment. The Designer Roller Shades cassette adds a touch of sophistication to roller shades in any room.  The fabric roll is concealed in the cassette, enhancing the beauty of your decor.  The fabric wrapped cassette is standard.  A non fabric wrapped cassette is available upon request.  The bottom bar is also wrapped in fabric, giving the shade a very clean, finished look.

Never before have you seen such light control in a roller shade.  Choose fabrics of varying opacities for optional light control and privacy.  During the day, lower the sheer to keep the view and reduce intense ultraviolet rays.  In the evening, simple lower the room darkening shade for privacy.  The new dual roller shade application allow two shades to operate simultaneously in one large cassette system. The new cordless lifting system for designer roller shades features a revolutionary spring mechanism that allows owners to release the shade and have it raise gently to the top of the window or it may be stopped at varying intervals by holding on to the tassel as the shade rises.

The advance technology allows shades to operate by technically innovative battery motor, which raises or lowers the shade and holds it securely in place at any chosen position.  The metal roller tube on all shades is always wrapped with fabric even when fully lowered.  The bottom bar is also wrapped in fabric with most fabrics offering the option of adding a decorative hem and or trim. 

In addition to plain hems, there are even decorative hem styles to enhance the appearance of the bottom of the shade.  All styles of the decorative hem include a color coordinating petite grip trim.  Most hem styles extend the fabric below the bottom bar of the shade.  However horizon with petite gimp trim does not by placing the trim above the bottom bar, no additional fabric hangs beneath the bottom bar.  All other pattern extend approximately 6 inches below the bar.
